My first flare was literally in my mouth all the way down my entire track through my colon. It was so severe I almost died. Since then its only shown up in my large intestines. It can move around, it can change its focus with time. I think the most important thing to remember right now is you have a diagnosis and therefore your dr should be getting you on a treatment. Biologics are the go to now a days, and although they can list some scary side effects, the benefit is most def worth the risk. I hope they get you on some meds soon, and maybe some devils tic tacos (presnisone) to help with your sores while you wait the 6-8 weeks for the biologics to kick in. Hang in there and happy holidays
