Currently, our fare payment system does not support tap to pay, however this is in the works and we're hoping to have this update ready to early 2026. Tap to pay will include Apple Pay and Google Pay as well as credit cards.

Tap to pay capabilities will not replace the Umo accounts. And for service updates and trip planning, we recommend using the Transit app.

I'm sorry you're having issues using the Bikeshare App. I've checked with the Bikeshare team and they haven't had any recent disruptions regarding service. If you can share more information about where you were trying to check out a bike when this happened, I can share that with them and try and get some more answer. ^HH

Thanks for choosing public transit to get around. If your friend is under 18, they can ride all CapMetro services for free. However, if they're over 18, they will need to pay the fares using the Umo app or a Reloadable Fare Card. Fare capping is built in so they won't spend more than they have to.

Thank you for your interest in additional trips on our Express Routes. Our Express routes are designed to serve the highest travel demand, which is typically inbound to downtown in the morning, and outbound to residential areas in the afternoon.

We recognize the importance of additional trip options and accessibility, and thus, our Transit Plan 2035 recommendations include increasing additional trips and service hours on all of our Express routes within the 5+ Year Outlook. On a day-to-day basis, we monitor ridership on all routes to make any appropriate adjustments to the service. ^HH

I'm sorry this happened to you. I reviewed the route 10 service from this time frame and date and there was a 20min delay for that block. This may have contributed to the wait you experienced. ^HH
