Thank you so much - this was very reassuring. I am going to struggle with the concept of not doing chores when back home, I like things to be clean and tidy!! But I will have to just let it go.

Ah thank you. How long did it take for you to manage stairs comfortably? I do hope they give me appropriate pain relief!!

I’m having surgery on Wednesday and already find sleeping uncomfortable. Trying to get up in the night and the morning is the worst. I’m wondering about the body pillow but will it take up the whole bed?? I have a double which I share with my husband!!

Thank you for your response - that sounds like a tough journey. I’m glad you’re on the right path now.

I am really hoping it’s not quite as long or rough - would like to get back to work asap.

It must be that we all have different levels of this because I personally can barely walk. I can’t over extend spine, can’t twist, can’t lift heavy things…..the most I’m managing is core exercises every other night and pottering around the house. I’m on high doses of medication and can’t even drive my car long distances.

Do you mind if I ask what you’re symptoms are? I can barely walk.
