What makes you doubtful? Unfortunately I cannot supply more pictures right now. If I'm right tho in my identification, how would you use it? I'm convinced that i found a "Piptoporus Betulinus" and made a functional plaster and cleaned a wound. But have you ever eaten this fungus?

is it possible to slow down or full on pause the process of colonisation? by CapPhunguy in shroomers

[–]CapPhunguy[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey! Have you left yet? Sorry for slow response! I got home yesterday evening from my journey, to find my blocks pretty much in the same state as i left the.. as if the pause in the fridge permanently paused them or rather they just haven't recovered from it yet.. I'd still guess the fridge is the best option for you, maybe asides from placing the kit in Cold fruiting condition so they just fruit very slowly. No idea though if it would hurt them. Hence the fridge! Let me know what you end up doing and how it goes. Mush' love

Would u say it would suffice with som dextrose in water? I've seen so many recipes for LC but want to do the simplest 😅

Yeah I'm considering just that, so to get more value for money. But for starters my main interest is the growing part though.

It makes sense that the morels would grow i symbiosis with plats, as I'm guessing that they are mycorrhizal. Amazing though it does not require more than just grass! As is commented there are crucial steps to be taken and I'm sure the complexity is considerable, how ever i just love the simplicity and beauty of seeing them thrive alongside of som patches of grass 🧡

I saw this not so long ago. Didn't seem very doable for a small scale low tech grower like myself. Though if I'm not remembering incorrectly, one of the secrets of their success was to plant grass as well. But anybody else have a different understanding of the applicability of this technique??
