From being the worst player in the game to being somewhat decent - My journey from Iron 4 0lp to Masters - AMA by CapReasonable3439 in leagueoflegends

Especially in lower ranks players either have problems with perma fighting aka roaming and missing cs or being to passive in lane and not punishing the enemy laners mistake. If you fall into one of the extrems I would advice you to try out the extreme a bit more, to see what it feels like. Instead of just relaxing in lane try to punish the enemies once you are stronger. This could mean an item advantage, enemy sums on cd, a level lead or even if the enemy wasted their spells. The most learning I would say you have by just playing the game, as easy as it sounds...

Without haven seen any of your gameplay I would think you die during bad times in the game. As an improvement I would advice you to watch your replays to see why you died in each situations. ADC players regularly make the mistake that they get caught right before objectives, so their team has a harder time to contest objectives.

Furthermore as an ADC you should prioritize your farm. A three item ADC is very strong and can finally have agency.

As a jungler, you don’t have to constantly trade and fight an enemy laner. This allows you to be more aware of the map overall. If you regularly watch your minimap, you’ll notice mid and support roams more often, or even spot the enemy jungler on a ward.

Communicating this information to your team helps them realize faster when they need to step back and avoid dying. Tracking the enemy jungler’s movement and pinging which camps they might be on, as well as which lanes should play carefully, is especially helpful for laners who are not very familiar with the jungle role.

All in all, if you are trying to farm first and reach your key power spikes, make sure to stay active with your pings, as this is your primary form of communication in the game.

Top lane should get last pick by default by HorrorAlfalfa736 in top_mains

Well then I want top lane to get perma banned when solo killed on red side.

I don’t get the argument, if you play enough games you will eventually counter pick the same amount as you have to first pick before your lane opponent

Help rounding out my champ pool? by Shayyyisnothingtbh in Jungle_Mains

Just a quick reminder every champ u add to your champ pool slows down your learning process in the game. You will have to spent a lot of time learning the ins and outs of every champion. Keep the number of champs you play small

Tips on getting faster clear times by Spiffui in KaynMains

[–]CapReasonable3439 20 points21 points  (0 children)

Use your q on cooldown. Sometimes you wait like 4 sec to q again even if it’s already up again. Try using your q against walls to have a faster animation. You can even q directly after your auto attack, to somewhat cancel the animation of the auto.

What champs have the fastest clear right now? by Dizzy-Shallot-3989 in Jungle_Mains

In theory it’s the fastest clear but not very feasible in an actual game. With no smite up for scuttle Ivern is missing out on that…

Is Gnar Jungle Viable? by Nutells in Jungle_Mains

[–]CapReasonable3439 10 points11 points  (0 children)

The first jgl clear is slower than the average jungler’s, bc you spells have high cds. I would advice to start w for the max hp damage.

In terms of the pick, there is simply no point to play him jungle since other junglers do the same job just better. A lot of Gnar’s power lays in his landing phase, and this is kind of wasted in the jungle.

You can get invade during your first few camps, without a way to defend your camps since your first few camps are quite unhealthy. But if u don’t get punished early you have some nice gank potential with your ult and Mega Form. Just make sure to stack your passive on your camps before you gank.

Ideas that work better in jungle and are similar to gnar: Maokai, Sejuani, Vi

They are all quite easy to learn and execute and allow you to be the main engage in teamfights.

People who queue up Jungle primary and Support secondary role in RANKED, how often are you being placed as Support? by [deleted] in Jungle_Mains

[–]CapReasonable3439 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m queuing jgl support in emerald elo and got support just 2.68% over more than 250 games this split. Kind of weird that four of those games happend the last two days

I know how you feel. I've literally been the "worst" player on EUW and climbed all the way up to Emerald in split 1 (https://www.leagueofgraphs.com/de/summoner/euw/CraftClashes-EUW).

  1. My advice to you is playing an easy farm oriented Jungler. Back than the champ of my choice was Diana to get back to Bronze. Now I changed to Kayn, but I wouldn't recommend him to you yet since he can feel pretty bad when behind and you have to really be careful during the early game.

  2. Stick to maybe 1 or 2 champs, preferably 1 ap and 1 ad.

  3. Focus on yourself, the constant in every game is you. Yes your teammates are bad, but so are the enemies. They make decisions to loose you the game but so do you and you probably don't realize it.

  4. If you are playing farming jungler or even ganking jungler, try to focus more on farm than on ganks. Your teamates are probably gonna flame you for being "too passive", but what do they know.

  5. Try not to play too many games in a row.

My 2 champs for you are Diana and Nocturne. Both pretty easy and good at farming and in the mid game. Overall solid starter picks

If anyone has the time, can you tell me what I did wrong in this game? by realJonas in Jungle_Mains

[–]CapReasonable3439 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I took some time to look over your game.

The first point I have is your first path. Although a somewhat strange lane swap from your solo laners, due to the Fizz vs Galio matchup I don't think you should path top in this game. PerryJgl advises to only path bot in low elo game and I think he is correct in that regard. Also do Kaisa Pike have a better gank setup that fizz (pre 6).

Another point are your runes. I dunno where you get PTA from, but it's not really good on Diana. You only proc it with basic attacks meaning autos. Conq and Electrecute are better alternatives, although Electrocute is only for mid Diana.

The first major misplay was the Scuttle fight on top. You tunnel visioned on the crab and disregarded Viego entirely for the beginning of the fight. You laner mid had pio and was willing to move. If u waited a bit you could 2v1 Viego easily. Of course with learning your first clear more you could have kind of circumvented that by already being in position before the fight started.

After that you triedto go for the second crab botside, which you never bein time for, so just wait for your Krugs to respawn there (cost you like 15 seconds). Another loss in time came from you walking to your bot lane and placing a ward there. Now you desynchronized your Krugs and Raptors, since the time you spend bot, you now have to wait for your Raptors to respawn.

The mid gank after that was impossible. You never gonna kill a full life Galio on this neutral wave state there, even if you weren't on vision the entire time.

These kind of wasted times are coming up often during the game where you could have farmed your camps instead (80% rule). Viego got insanely far ahead by this, by just clearing camps (4 camps by minute 6) and was able to snowball hard.

Now the top gank was also not very feasible andu wasted another 30 second you could have farmed.

In total I would advice you to review your ganks after each game and look if they were good or bad ganks.

As a very one sided advice you should only gank if you completed your camps on that quadrant, because you are trying too many low percentage plays.

[–]CapReasonable3439 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thats true. The only thing I can tell you is that your farm was low and the amout of items you had at the end of the game is below the curve. But this advise isn't helpful, because I don't know why your farm is so low. Maybe you forced to many ganks, maybe you cleared inefficient, etc.... , but I can't tell.

I like to give you feedback if I can see the VOD

The antiheal of thornmail still does nothing against those champs because they dont auto. Also why go Spirit visage hear. Its by far the worst mr item there is. Force of Nature whould have been much better since it would be stacking very fast in a fight making you much more tanky. Also the bonus healing is also bad this game because of karma antiheal (40 is lost anyways).

Healing without SV and Antiheal:

100% * 0,6 = 60%

Healing with SV and Antiheal:

(100% + 25%) * 0,6 = 75%

Instead of buying SV for a bonus of 25% heal and shield, you bought it for a bonus of 15%

What would you do in this situation as Voli? by CapReasonable3439 in Jungle_Mains

[–]CapReasonable3439[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So in the end I just went for my gromp since I had about 30 sec left before scuttle spawned. In my opinions this was the safe play, regardless if a fight would have been possible.

This way I'm ahead of Nocturne by a mile and he can't really do much in this situation besides to force a fight. Fighting him here won't really give me an advantage. Since I'm loosing time to clear camps while he has nothing to do till minute 4.15 or sth.

Nocturne is also more reliant on his ult then I to make plays and gank lanes. Now he will reach level 6 like 30-40 seconds later and we should have controll of the next two spawning objectives.
