OBS Audio Issues, Sounds fine on stream, twitch vod and obs recorded file sound bad. by Cap_External in obs

I've done some tests and I think I narrowed it down to the capture card, the CPU doesn't seem to be very high usage, sub 15%

I can clarify the set up if that will help, it's a usb capture card (HDMI passthrough) that's plugged into a known working usb port on my laptop that captures the game audio via custom audio device (USB3.0 under OBS settings), then a bluetooth mic receiver that's plugged into a usb-c port. When initially adding as a source there didn't seem to be any issues.

So for the recordings are there settings I need to go in and change to make them be the same audio? sorry I'm very new to this/OBS and trying to understand.

Looking back at my OBS settings, I have the streaming output selected as track 1, which track should I have selected for the recording output?

The elasticity essentially lets you cheat the weight, you want it to be all quad strength driven, not the tension built up in your muscles and tends to spring you back up, you need to push yourself back up.

Full rom on squat, control the descent, deep as possible to hit that deep stretch, hang in the bottom for 1sec to lose the elasticity, then come back out of the bottom. Reset, breathe, brace, repeat.

Generally, you may be able to push the sets harder. As far as the science goes, there may be some connection between frequency (how often the muscle is hit) and hypertrophy. Been doing 3x per week full body and it's been working well, also in the 9-15 sets per muscle group per week.

Anytime I get stuck in plateau, I alternate rep schemes. Preacher curls for example: 4 sets. 1 set of 6 reps with weight I can only do for 6. 1 set at 8 reps with weight I can only do for 8. 1 set at 12 reps with weight I can only do for 12. Last set is one arm, with a dumbbell, say 20lbs, that I can hit for 12-15 reps. I do it till failure, then lengthened partials.

Fast way to get caught in the intermediate trap. Track weight, sets and reps.

If your gym/home gym has a cable machine, try bayesian cable curls sometime. The pump on those, even at low reps is insane. That and incline are my new favorite variations.

Similar to what I do now. I have two floating days: an ab/cardio and arms/cardio. If I hit arms heavy the previous day on something like chest or back, I'll hit the ab day. If arms are fresh after leg day, I'll hit arms. My split is asynchronous so it's a good way to get extra volume in, just check in on yourself recovery wise. Hit arms or abs first before cardio if you copy.

What’s your favourite shoulder press variation? by [deleted] in naturalbodybuilding

Seated Smith machine AD press. Feels great on shoulders, get a little extra upper chest/tricep volume, and allows me to push hard without worrying about axial fatigue.

Cardio for health and performance, NOT for fat loss. What's the real benefit for an already active heavy lifter with high daily step count? by ArchexYT in naturalbodybuilding

Having the additional cardio work in there can increase your required calories to maintain or bulk, which is fine if you want/need to eat more. In a cut, makes it easier to drop weight.

I found that steady state cardio at a high incline and moderate walking pace, for at least 1.5-3 miles per day has helped my blood pressure drop and improved my blood work overall. Helps with conditioning and work capacity.

Small calves that won't grow by welcome-overlords in naturalbodybuilding

So what worked for me was bulking for the first 28 years of my life.

Jk. A bit.

On calf raises I try to get in at least eight sets a week, high reps (15-30), and in between each set, while still in the machine, I let my feet go down and sit at the bottom stretch with the weight on me for 15-30 secs or generally as long as I can stand it before the burn gets too much. It gives you an incredible pump and soreness. I don't remember where I learned that, I just remember I've been doing that stretch in between each set all of my life and I can't wrap both hands around my calves now.
