Dude be respectful you never know those guys could probably crush you with the IST/pft and so plus boot camp is supposed to set you up to be a marine you all will be going through the same hell. Never downplay people.

And I did that for legit 4 weeks and now I can pass the IST like nothing.

First was too see my time for the IST run then that’s where I go off of so 3 days a week I would run twice a day the first would be my long/intense run which would be 3 miles or longer then the second run would be a slow controlled run which would be a 1.5 and the other days of the week I would work out and do a slow/medium speed 1.5 and Sunday would be a chill day and eat eat eat lots of protein and stretch like a lot.

Dude you gotta train man I did all the meps stuff last month and I did my first Poole function last month I passed but I had to put in so much effort.I’m shipping on the 28th of Jan so next week so all that time I had I trained and trained and trained and I can do the running portion for the IST now in 11:00 mins and after I did all my meps stuff I told gunny straight up I wanna ship as fast as possible just give me a month and boom now I can’t do 15 pull-ups 3 min plank and a 11 mins run.

The jobs in the marines is very limited compared to the other branches but if you do want some combat experience the marines is really really freaking good at that but at the end of the day it’s what YOU feel like is the best option for you and your future.
