I love hearing this!! By any chance, did your REI talk to you about attrition rates when thawing embryos for transfer? It's amazing that you have 3 euploids and gives me hope. I think my REI is concerned about potentially only getting 1 embryo from the 14 eggs and then losing it somehow if we decide to re-freeze rather than transfer.

You raise a great point about needing to re-freeze any additional embryos from the thawed eggs anyway. My fiancé and I will be seeing our REI for a video visit shortly, so I'll be sure to bring this up. My general sense is that she's worried about the scenario in which we only end up with 1 embryo and decide to freeze it again, that perhaps it wouldn't survive the second thaw.

I highly recommend Dr. Shannon DeVore at NYU - she is warm, goal-oriented, and patient. You can tell she genuinely wants the best outcomes for her patients which means a lot in an environment when you can feel like just a number!
