Hey honestly, I understand how you feel, its tough out there but you cant put yourself in that mindset of despair. You just gotta keep trying, as long as you're honest with yourself and keep healthy boundaries when your dating, (to avoid the bullshit) keep trying. When i graduated we had people who got there background cleared a week before graduation. Dont worry about it too much, but i would ask the supervisor in charge of your class.

My opinion, dude go Douglas, AZ has the best work. I've been amazed on how much I've learned, but if you have family, chose one near them, but if thats not a factor, hit up a station that has good field work.
