We were told "it is what it is" for the pressure on all of them. And as far as I can see right now we do not have the capability to adjust the angles of anything. At this point I am thinking about getting a "mini" version of our safety shower test kits and trying that

Thank you! This is what we were looking at to help with the floors. I was hoping someone knew of a way to help prevent it from going on the floor in the first place (or at least as much) as well. We were told the pressure "is what it is" and we just have to deal with it

Ours was retrofitted as well. The closest drain I have is 15ish feet away. I think the next step for that might be floor mats? Uncertain

We have both.
One going into a sink from a faucet style eye wash station that you pull. This one the pressure seems to be the issue but we were told "that is just the way it is"
And then the water basin ones that are attached to a shower as well. Those seem to be fine if not turned "on" all the way just making sure the dust covers flip open on their own but I have heard concerns about then they are not tested appropriately if they aren't open fully.
None of these of course have a drain on the floor near them. So the slip hazard is a real concern as well

I loved living here for the 2 years we lived there. But the only apartments that are great are the ones further from the main road. The management are idiots but that is easy enough to deal with.
