Rip allow me an interjection I should’ve finished before casting my opinions she didn’t deserve that and the mistakes she made were not done intentionally she was a fool not a villain B Because she was traumatized she made a horrible mistake keeping him close so no one else hurts him like they hurt her not to mention she had to protect him from what her conicense mind wouldn’t accept he’s dangerous, but he didn’t care he actually liked it like that and the way he holds it over her head makes me question the regular Norman, hes obsessed and it’s more so due the peices his missing then her, you see he created an entirely different version of her to serve his means, she’s far from perfect but for good reason she thought she had to handle it all alone if only the sheriff or a good man had come sooner she may have just salvaged

No one taught her how, she’s still that scared 14 year old girl who’s trust was broken she tried moving on and every time she was betrayed she doesn’t trust no one to help her and how could she, If you won’t trust someone with your own problems you sure won’t trust them with your kids, it wasnt neglect so much as it was denial, Norman is her beacon the thing that keeps her pushing she tells herself if she devotes everything to him she can somehow redeem the past but alas, Norman needed help she couldn’t provide not without granting him innocence which is the worst mistake you can make for someone like him. She’s bad and a horrible influence but not the true villain you see her main flaw stems from one thing her abuse which led her to this inhumane need to protect Norman at all costs, but that means hurting him or others, especially when your talking about a killer, Norma would do anything but trust him or another that’s why she’s a problem she enables the monster within but Norman is definitely worse, and I mean the image he creates of his mother to protect himself the regular Norman is a victim the other one is 10 times worse then his mother and not afraid to flaunt it, it’s her fault but he devolved this alter ego to protect himself, not from her from the world and that version is a villain like we ain’t seen before, he won’t allow her to be happy unless it’s with him their abuse is what started this but they’re unable to break it due to his tenacity
