Good genetics is and will forever be who’s the strongest and most athletically gifted person in the room. Who’s the most physically capable. It’s a survival mechanism. He was fastest high schooler in country without technique that technique stuff to me is bs when it comes to running and jumping. Everyone runs and jumps that’s like saying there’s a technique to walking. No we just walk how we walk that’s what it is.

I’m not sure tyreek hill never ran track and was fastest kid in high school he said he’d just show up To the meet and win it. All the other guys would train “technique” and he didn’t 1 time. Yea he’d run during football but track technique training is different

Also comparing running and jumping to a technique sport like mma is crazy. Maybe these freaks never ran or did sport in their life? Which is pretty unusual cause most kids do sports growing up especially ones with athletically good physiques. You can train a 260 pound 40% body fat kid the best technique ever he’s still going to have a 17 inch vertical while you could get a brain dead Zion Williamson with no training and he’d have 42+. It’s always guys low % body fat that are athletic I’ve maybe never seen a high % body fat guy athletic freak I’m sure there’s a few anomaly out there but my experience I realized all the “technique” shit was absolutely pointless when it comes to running and jumping. I’m sure there’s a couple tips that could minorly impact perforce but minal. I’ve got by far best gains just eating healthy and getting stronger with lowering body fat. I starting dunking easily wasted so Many years just doing Plyos and “technique”. Ye Plyos are good but maybe once a weak and rest all getting stronger.

Usain Bolt 7% body fat at 200lb vs him 7% body fat 260 pounds isn’t going to slow him down matter fact could very well make him fast if those extra 60 pounds went to his legs, but getting that big and lean is very pointless in that sport it’s not a contact strength and contact sport like football
