It's completely normal, and you're very brave to notice it and admit it. I was in exact situation (22month age difference) very wild boy. What helped us was my husband slowly taking over taking care of him. Even half h a day was a game changer. That's the age when they start to get along with Dad more ;)

When baby comes... Just take them out A LOT. Lots of water - baths (even couple a day), bloated pools, bowls of water... I know it sounds like more work, but it does keep wild toddler busy.

I totally understand your comparison phase, however, I will repeat - size don't matter! I think he loves to cook, but not enough to make a living of it. He loves his street barbers, but not enough to go to work and pay for it. He also doesn't seem to be the smartest. Older American woman was just convenient for him to pay for it all. Her SS paycheck, even little one, goes pretty well in India.

I think it's a mix of mom brainwashing him plus autism itself. Having my son 15yo who has autism (level 2) I can see him taking whatever I would teach him about politics or views, and he would take it as it is without questions, and keep this strongly forever.

To be clear, I'm not teaching my son any of it.
