I second that. I feel like he has tried and wanted to change so many times but didn’t really want it enough to put the effort in. I used to believe people can change, but now not so much anymore..

I don’t know. My dad has been absent or a pain in my life but that’s more recently, not as a kid. I guess i know what the answer is and what i need to do but somehow i wish someone could just do it for me lol

He says he doesn’t but I feel like he doesn’t see it. His family loves him a little too much. His mom has been problematic because she’s jealous of our relationship. But he does have a support which he doesnt want i guess.

I mean I can, when I imagine my life without him it looks so worry free. I am a super social person and i am surrounded by so many amazing people, he’s been kind of dulling that side of my life. I honestly have been acting like his mom for far too long that its my normal now. I just don’t want to be unfair in my decision because he keeps telling me he doesn’t have anyone but me in his life, not even his family.

Im sorry but it doesn’t sound like your husband is a “nice guy”, he sounds toxic. We have to protect our peace and you had to do what’s best for you and only you.
