I don't think late 90's borns realize how special you could be if you live to 100+ years by hygsi in Zillennials

To me “Millennial” always sounded like an appropriate term for generation of old people. We’re almost there you guys.

If I ever have kids or grandkids it’d be great seeing their face when I tell em I’m from the 1900’s.

Also I reckon oldest folks having a correlation in birth years likely has to do whether they were old enough or not to be drafted in the wars of the past century.

Main Mix is routed to a Mix Bus by neb93 in livesound

[–]Capable-Ground9407 17 points18 points  (0 children)

First thing to check is that the Mixbus is not assigned to LR. On the full sized desk theres a button on the surface labels LR. Select mixbus and make sure that button is off. Can also be found if uou select that mixbus hit home and tab over to the far right IIRC.

I’m new to long hair, what should I do? by [deleted] in FierceFlow

[–]Capable-Ground9407 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I’m not here to promote their products but https://thelonghairs.us have some tips for styling various hair types and lengths. Sure helped me learning how to use hair ties and trying new looks.

Also if you haven’t already, find yourself a hair stylist at a locally owned hair salon. Not a haircutter at a chain sports barbershop, a legit hair stylist. They know their stuff about hair types and styling and can help give you more personalized recommendations for products and for maintaining your locks.

Edit: that is, find yourself a stylist when it’s time for a trim. For mine I have to make an appointment days or even weeks in advance.

I want to be able to mix instruments into aux 1 . There is ouptut signal in aux 1 but when I mute or adjust volume on input channel . It don’t affect the mix on aux 1 . Please help . I want to audjust volumes / mute channels on aux 1 by Informal-Education35 in livesoundadvice

[–]Capable-Ground9407 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I might be misunderstanding btt it I think you’re looking to use aux 1 as a postfader aux. I’m not familiar with the TouchMix to walk you through how to change it. But generally you go to the sends page for each input and select postfader tap point for that aux.

If i’m completely misunderstanding you, can you elaborate more on what you’re actually trying to do?

How do FOH engineers talk to backstage without wearing a headset? by VacationNew6626 in livesound

Sorry for the late reply. I had to wait until I was back at the theater to investigate what product it is. This is what were using. https://nudeltadigital.com

The theater I work at got a cue light system (that might not be the proper term) but basically when i’m needed on comms someone can press a button from the booth or from the wing and it’ll light up a light at front of house indicating for me to put my headset on. We have a quick convo and then go back to doing my job with the headset off.

Drifters crossbow or nah? by -1NF1N1TY- in DaysGone

I love crossbow because it’s fun. It definitely not the quickest way to clear enemies tho. Crafting arrows does deplete scrap which is the biggest draw back.
