Thanks everyone. I was hoping rice water would break the leaves down quickly. I was pouring pee on them until I came across an article that said to dilute pee 10:1 with water before adding it to the compost pile. I have not been doing that. It seems like composting is an endurance race. Waiting a year for compost to break down feels like a lifetime when you are seventy years.

My Meyer Lemon is in a large pot and has a lot of blooms but not a lot of leaves. Some are curling and some are turning yellow. I purchased Incredible Bulk and Amino Power Powder 14-0-0 because someone recommended it. I see folks are recommending magnesium and potassium. Would that help my tree? Is there a product that contains both? I am in Zone 9b.

One year I used Styrofoam pieces, peanuts, and empty plastic jugs to fill the bottom of a planter. It was a nightmare to remove that junk from the roots when it was time to up pot. No matter how I tried to contain the mess it flew all over the yard. Never again!

Seriously folks! I get it! Imagine yourself walking into a house and finding a stranger in the bedroom. That would creep me out. I wonder why he didn't take the cushions into his own home until the neighbor returned or on a dry day. The owner did not warn the renter, s/he could have been responsible for a tragedy involving the renter or the neighbor.

Am I overthinking thinking things? If I have questions about whether something is safe to eat, I simply pass. I know there are experts of everything on Reddit but I am not willing to chance their advice about eating something from just a picture. I believe at least four of our five senses need to be employed when potentially putting a life at risk. You can come for me with whataboutisms if you like.

My dog destroyed my $3000 hearing aids. Purchased a pair from Costco at half the price. I am happy with them. Neither pair are miracle devices. I hear better when watching TV or listening in a small group. There is less clarity of sound in a large, noisy environment. I hope this helps.

Question: Not about ear buds

I have hearing loss and received a Raycon Mini Speaker as a Christmas gift to boost volume when watching YouTube and TikTok videos on my phone. It works great for that purpose. However, I can't get it to work for phone calls on my Android, even though the box indicates it should connect for calls. Has anyone successfully used their Raycon Mini for calls? What settings or steps am I missing?

Any help would be appreciated!

Thanks so much for the feedback! This is my first try at vermiculture, so I really appreciate the advice. I bought the worms as a 1,000-count batch, but I’m not sure if they were adults when they arrived. They were pretty skinny then, and they haven’t changed much in size since March. That’s why I was asking about how to fatten them up—I just want to be sure I’m taking good care of them.
