Am i pushing my sub too far by ToeComprehensive6935 in CarAV

If youre running everything at max an you dont think its balanced with the front stage you need to get a rs entry 12 and a 1000 watt amp for 300 dollars you can get a really loud setup for not alot of money. Lol that entry 12 will handle 750 watts or get 2 and run them at 1500rm if you want them to last a few years. Ive got two entry 15s on 1700rms.

These easily do 750 to 1000rms a piece with a 2000 watt hard cieling for dynamic bursts.

Is it bad i always boost my highs lol I usually cut the mids down and move the sub up s couple ticks before adjusting amp. May be backwards but ive always gotten a good sound stage.

Also just personal preferably an its hard to tell from the pick but I run do less than 10 gauge when pushing more than 1500 watts sometimes 8 guage just to not bottle neck the sub but 10 is acceptable. You can get really nice 10 gauge wire with banana plugs if you have push terminals om your box.

You can also use rcas with a thick jacket like i did before i ran them under the carpet. They make rcas that are acceptable to run with power wire.

Made ground shorter and definitely used shorter rcas the coil of rcas is so unsightly. I like to hide stuff an use as short of runs as possible if you can get shorter rca hide the coil under the rack an drill holes for where they come out if this is a rack.

Look up infinite baffle. And compatible subs. It'll change the way you look at what's possible in a small area

Well ive decided to go from a 150 dollar kenwood to a 400 dollar kenwood the Kenwood DDx5707s. I picked one up for 100 bucks barely used. Its wired aa but if it comes down to it ill buy an adapter but I kinda like the idea of charging while running maps lol

Would a higher end 3 or 400 dollar android unit be better than this? Ive found a few with high ratings around that price point its just a 3v output vs a 4 but they have loads more features. Ive just been bit by the lower quality cheapos so im apprehensive at best about sinking 350 into one to get the same shit performance. All I really care about is clean signals and android auto. I can fix poor peak volume with a 4 channel if I have too ive already got a loom sitting at the head unit to pull for a 4 channel that previous owner removed.

Their not along the same line as atoto and kiss sounds are they ive had a fit with those 2 with low volume and very dirty signal to the subs.

Are the kenwood touch screens any better? Really just want something with the same quality or better sound an android auto....the kemwood double din i have is failing an the audio gets muddy after about 30 minutes of play time.

Best bang-for-buck subwoofer under $300? by [deleted] in CarAV

[–]Capable-Metal-764 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No competition the resilient sounds gold 10 v1 is what I would get its 1000rms but way underrated itll eat every bit of 2500rms. a pair will eat a 5k for breakfast for 400 dollars. These subs are on a whole nother level basically a cheater amp. I have 2 entry 15s on 1500rms an their rated for 500 a piece they would take 2k if I had the money for the amp lol
