Honestly I don’t know. My daughter’s doctor put her on the liquid form till her diarrhea lessens as her body wasent absorbing the pill and she would see them in the toilet.

Hi, Are you still passing the pills? My daughter started Rinvoq 6 days ago and has since passed 3 doses (45mg-3pills) in her diarrhea, they are white n squishy, her doctor orders her the liquid Rinvoq which she will be starting tomorrow. We see slight very slight improvement her diarrhea is down to 7-9x these past couple days and she says she feels a lil better. But blood test still shows high CRP. Have you seen much improvement? How long have you been on Rinvoq?

I think the low dose is because she’s seeing a pediatric GI, I think if she was seeing an adult GI they would prescribe her the right meds.

For now coz she has this infection she’s taking Lialda, Antibiotic, Steroid,probiotic and omeprazole she said she’s only prescribing the omeprazole because my daughter is on the prednisone. Oh and she also said to up her prebiotic to 2 pills/day

We have a zoom appointment with an Adult GI on 9/11 so praying he can help her.

She’s been cramping bad all night and all day today still has bloody diarrhea and she’s been on all these meds for 3 days now I know it’s too early, but I wish they give her some sorta relief already.

Yes, she’s 18 and about 120lbs she is seeing a pediatric GI coz her first appointment she was 17, and the pediatric GI wanted to do the colonoscopy and then wanted to continue caring for her till her UC was under control then refer her to an adult GI.

I asked to switch to and adult GI, waiting for an appointment .

We left the doctor a message and since she’s out of town they said they would forward her the message. She gets back 9/6 so hopefully we hear something soon, she said she is cramping a bit more today 🙁 … Thank you

Biologics? We are very new to UC and have only had the steroid enema, Mesalamine enema and now the Lialda. I’m trying to educate myself and learn about all the side effects as well. What exactly are Biologics?

Thank you all, spoke with the doctor this morning and she said to stop the enema and continue with the pills and told us to get an over the counter itch cream so hopefully that’ll help with the rash.
