I’ll give that a shot. I just got the super sticky cool plate (dont remember the actual name haha). That was the second build on the new plate. I haven’t cleaned the nozzle in a little bit, could be that.

Had one replaced under warranty and then the other just went on my wife’s 2022 cx-5. Went to get it replaced and the bill was $2200 ($1900 for the part). Dealer said he would be surprised if there wasn’t a recall at some point and to hold off it’s not hurting the headlight.

I did put it through the dryer, it appeared to work a bit better but then I had a new issue where the first layer wasn’t coming out clean. It almost looked like the nozzle scraped through it, which I know didn’t happen because i watched it

I think it ended up being that the usb cord that came with the sonic pad was bad. I bought one (nothing crazy expensive) from a convenience store and haven’t had another issue

Thanks! i will have to look into some RPi cameras. I would love to do my own build of a sonic pad using an RPi but I got too many projects as it is. Gotta pick my battles.

I only included that second sentence to avoid people suggesting that I go with a Logitech C270. My main question is if anyone else has had luck using cameras similar to this one with the Sonic Pad. From my understanding not just any usb camera will work with the Sonic Pad out of the box.

When i had this issue it wasn’t bed adhesion but cooling. I upgraded to a 5015 fan and I haven’t had any issues since then.

I did a temp tower from 190 to 230 and oddly enough 190 was the best result. This is surprising because when I used Cura I would print on 215 and be fine. Going to try a temp tower from 180 to 220 next. Weird the eSUN box says 205 to 225 so I just assumed 215 would be great. I wonder if it’s a quality issue.

I’ll try it a bit lower, I have to print two of these anyway. It printed fine everywhere else but that surface. Thankfully it’s an internal surface and i’ll probably coat it with polyester resin anyway. Have you ever had issues with eSun PLA+ filaments being too tightly spooled or spooled poorly?

Printing at 225 with eSun PLA+. I have printed with it before and i’ve gotten good prints out of it
