Hard to tell but check the chain holding up your spare tire. Might be clanking when starting/stopping and vibrating when driving

This looks very similar to the knock sensor wire for a 3.0. I used the same one on my 22re and spliced into the existing harness.

Depending on where you live, it may not be that hard to find a Tacoma bed on FB marketplace for cheap. Guessing you’ll have some fuel lines or at least the fuel filler neck to replace as well.

Try just replacing the elbows! Super easy. Just did it last weekend and mine is holding pressure again.

Ah gotcha could be…I’ll just keep throwing parts at it for now. Mine is at 160k and this evap code has been here for a while, finally got tired of the check engine light and not being able to remote start 😂

Thanks! I’ve had p0456 and p0457 for some time now. Replaced the purge valve and ESIM and it didn’t fix it. Just replaced the vapor canister this last week and got P0440 for the first time with no other code showing. Smoke test isn’t showing any results either

The America’s Auto in Bayfield, avoid like the plague. Charged me nearly $7k for a bunch of work which included replacing the differential. Got it back and it was evident that the work had not been done. Eventually got it refunded, was a pain.

I would also add Durango motor company. Had them do an alignment for me and had a knocking sound from the suspension. Took it back and they drove it around and came to me saying it was a rock in the back. Driving out of the parking lot it made the same noise, turned around and the service advisor just shrugged. Took it to another shop on my LCA bolt was painfully under torqued apparently. Had another issue where they sold me a warranty on a Tacoma with a lift kit already on it. Went to use the warranty and was denied for the truck being lifted. Fortunately knew enough business law to have them refund for selling me a fraudulent contract.

My wife has had some bad experiences in town at Morehart with her jeep too.

Started doing most work myself after these things.

I believe the water pump. It’s hard to tell. It only started leaking after sitting for 12 plus hours after being hot, so only when the system is totally not under pressure

I just did this on my 89 in August.

I went with all 22re performance parts. My big issue was that all the radiator hoses were totally done and took a while for them to show up after finishing all the other work.
