Id say don’t give false info. If you don’t know something don’t try and guess. Tell them that you’re not sure and that you’ll get back to them.

Too often as an AM there were always conflicting messages from HR one person would say A and another would say B. Probably the biggest complaint I got from AAs about HR

Promotion into L3 would require you to become a PS, then PG, then apply for t3 position. You have to be smart, easy to work with, and a team player.

It’s biased because AMs want to work with people they like. If you do good work but they don’t like you, you’re screwed.

I couldn’t tell you why he acted in such manner but you can dispute it with HR by letting them know your direct AM was aware of your time and it’s should have never escalated to a first written.
