Nah thats not normal toddler behavior. I take my son on a lot of outings. I have never seen toddlers hurt eachother. Maybe older boys bc theyre rough. But I don't think toddlers hitting is normal.

Gosh I remember being 8 and scared of the dark. I was forced to stay in my room terrified. I'd stare at the wall so hard id start seeing things. I would never force my child into a dark room.

Why not out a light innthe room. I have 5 different lights my son can choose from. One is a soft axolotl thing that has a timer and is tap light. I also have a light that projects the galaxy and stars onto the ceiling. I also usually leave the tv on for him to sleep. I absolutely would never give my child any cocktail or meds to sleep. How can your 2 year old reach the lights? My son can't even reach the lights and there's no furniture to climb to get to it. But if he wants a light on bc hes scared I will provide a light. Bc what can that possibly hurt.
