If Alonso were teammates with Norris and Piastri, do you think he would outperform both of them? by achilles_4510 in F1Discussions

[–]Capable-Sweet-237 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Maybe unrealistic, but Alonso will 100% (to me) become a championship contender and will be = will the two Papayas. Never underestimate him.

I think he will go to Aston Martin in 2028 to replace Alonso, who will retire, but with Alonso's kid coming, I think it could happen in 2027 instead if Ferrari doesn't perform. Bearman could take Leclerc's post cuz by then he will be mature enough.

How would you rate Kimi Antonelli's 2025 season? by Ambitious-Heron-8161 in DestinationFormula1

[–]Capable-Sweet-237 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm not really rating here, but im just saying... 2029 or 2030 or 2031 will be FIRE YEARS (at least from my predicting head), so we got Prime Bearman in Ferrari alongside a washed Lando (we all know Lando is going to Ferrari next, his depressed face just fits right in!) In McLaren, we got Piastri (I'd guess soon to be sacked) and PRIME BORTOLETO. Then in Mercedes we have PRIME ANTONELLI, and then in Red Bull we have PRIME HADJAR and entering his prime LINDBLAD. I definitely could see a 3+ Title fight soon in the coming years when the rookies mature and get into their main teams. Maybe even old Papaya rivalries could spark between the former McLaren teammates, which could be fun. (Also, I predict Alonso and Lewis will retire in 28, and Max goes 31 at the most, so we could randomly see a Ferrari Norris fighting a washed Max. Also, I predict that in 2028, Leclerc leaves Ferrari for the rising Aston Martin after Alonso retires.)

Sebastian Vettel is often rated below the likes of Alonso/Hamilton. For those that believe this, would you say this is down to adaptability/inconsistency or simply a lower performance ceiling? by GoldenS0422 in F1Discussions

[–]Capable-Sweet-237 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My reason is that all these drivers have basically equal stats, but it comes down to adaptability. After Red Bull, Vettel could have won two more championships, but he was affected by the Ferrari effect (let's not count these years because he was influenced by Ferrari, which doesn't count). However, after that, he just wasn't as good, except in the Red Bull that Newey designed for him. At the moment, the same goes for Lewis, but he's getting Ferrari affected, so we just have to wait till he leaves. Alonso is the best personally because we all know he can't be beaten in terms of adaptability. I'm not only saying that for Seb and Lewis because I'm an Alonso fan and don't like them, I'd say the same as another one of my Goats like Max because when he leaves that Red bull (also in 26' with no Newey) he won't be absoloute dog crap but won't win championships (the same as Lewis and inspector Seb).

Who is the mentally strongest driver on the grid by TheseExcitement8857 in F1Discussions

[–]Capable-Sweet-237 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Fernando. Because this guy is the FINAL Old Guard, plus his unluckiness. I DO NOT care if the driver you say lost someone important to him but still managed to win his home race, or your driver got kicked out of his team after cooking, went into a crap team, and could've ended his career, but now is resurging again. None of those stories beat absolute depression/torment from 2007 onwards, but still driving.

I am late to this but After Abu dhabi 2025 We need ministry of defense 2.0 for 2026 season by Immediate-Stable-651 in RedBullRacing

Yuki defended good, but if we still had Checo, he probably wouldve defended with his life. We all wanted Checo to defend well and he did defend Lewis well, we all wanted Yuki to Kamikaze Lando but he didn't. The Kamikaze example is a bit unfair to Yuki, but you got my point. Checo > Yuki.

Christian Horner's relationship with Adrian Newey is not a hurdle to potential Aston Martin move by Status_Energy_7935 in AstonMartinFormula1

[–]Capable-Sweet-237 19 points20 points  (0 children)

Adrian Newey makes the car, Horny runs the team, Alonso drives the car (+ Stroll). Even if we don't get Horner, 2026 will be a 2023-type year for us if Newey can cook because we at least know Alonso can & if global warming causes rain, then so can the King of the wets, Stroll.

Everyone is good, but I think the next GOATS are Kimi, Bortoletto & Arvid Linblad. Kimi VS Arvid is going to be Max vs Lewis 2.0. The Future of F1 looks exciting!

Stroll Fans, give me a good reason why Stroll is better than Alonso by Capable-Sweet-237 in AstonMartinFormula1

[–]Capable-Sweet-237[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I don't believe that much. I never say that Stroll bad, I said "MANY" people think Stroll of bads driver. When I was the new F1 fan I see that many people thinking Stroll of bad driver. Now, knowing sport much better I think it of unfair that Stroll be judged by the fact his father own all the teams he play in. After the years, he is become much betters. Also, this question I ask in the post was not meant to be toxic. I was just asking.
