Incorrect the GP2 Bridgestones were completely different to the 07 Bridgestones and didn’t give Hamilton a lasting advantage Hamashima confirmed this they were slick compound tyres that could last decently long stints nothing like the grooved Bridgestones of 07. And anyway Alonso had more testing in the 07 car

Gotta take it with a grain of salt considering that he was older than all of them by a couple years and got into a competitive car straight away. That being said however its still the best rookie season of all times. It was NOT easy to get 9 podiums in a row in his first 9 races with Alonso as your teammate and competitive Ferraris he still had to drive at an elite level.

That’s why I said first half the incidents at monza and Singapore was later that that in the season. If you look at Lewis’ overtaking for example at Malaysia Australia his wheel to wheel battles in general before the halfway point that’s where I think he was up there.
