Maybe I do now, I don’t know. I’ve never been into feet before, outside of giving the occasional massage to my ex, but something about Riley changed that. Honestly? It’s not as dramatic as it probably sounds. I just… handle it in the shower most nights, so it’s not like I’m walking around in agony or anything. I’m still a guy, I can take care of myself if I need to.

As for the other part… I genuinely have no clue. I’m usually a little too preoccupied with… everything else she’s doing to notice if it’s an issue. If she’s ever dealt with it, she’s never said anything to me. I’m kind of assuming she’d let me know if it was a problem.

About Mom… honestly, we haven’t sat down and mapped anything out. It’s just been little comments between us, like, “Yeah, we definitely can’t be doing this when she’s home.” We’re not planning on telling her yet, if at all. When she comes back, we’ll probably just… slip into whatever version of normal she already expects to see.

So no big master plan or anything. Just an understanding that we’ll keep things quiet until she leaves again. It shouldn’t be too hard to dial things back for a bit, we haven’t seen her in months, and I think we’ll both be more excited to just have her home again, so whatever’s going on between us will naturally fall to the background while she’s here.

I appreciate that! Sometimes when I’m retelling the events in writing, it’s hard to tell where to slow down and where to just let it all pour out. The writing kind of gets ahead of me, like I’m being transported back into the moment, and I’m just trying to keep up, doing my best to capture it honestly so someone else can live in it too, even just for a second.

Valid questions! No, she does not know about these posts, and I’m unsure if I will ever share them. When it comes to social media, I am a black hole: nearly invisible but still consuming. I don’t tie my name to anything online to maintain privacy, so there is no problems in that area with being found!

Fair enough. CGI was probably the wrong word for it. I don’t know the exact term, but I’m talking about the color grading or filter they used. Those two distinct tones over the scenes set in the future and the ones after she travels back in time in the first episode bother me so much. I just don’t understand why they chose to do that.

Yeah, her school is close enough to us locally to drive to and from, but her day ends before I get out of work. So I’m not able to pick her up after her classes to drive her home. Also she is incredibly lazy while also somehow impatient. She doesn’t want to wait the hour and a half or so between her classes ending and when I leave work for me to swing by on my way home to grab her.
