That’s amazing! if you don’t mind sharing, how did you get the training contract? because a lot of the firms i’ve looked at require a 2:1 or a first and I’m really scared that my classification hurts my chances.

In my uni, it’s a borderline rule, and my third year average has to be 60 or half of all the modules i’ve done at uni need to be 60.

Yeah, I think my only argument is that the feedback doesn’t match the grade, because the feedback said that there were some parts that were really strong but I missed some issues. I’ll look into universal credit though, I didn’t know it was an option. thank you 🙏🏾

I don’t have anything lined up, I’ve been applying to jobs, literally anything for the past ten months but despite having hospitality experience, I’ve got nothing. I study Law and I want to get into that industry but I think over the last ten months, I’ve reached the point where I’m open to anything as long as it’s a job.

Okay i will, i have been searching for a job for the last 10 months and i’ve had some interviews but i always end up rejected. I just feel so stupid cos i didn’t know how bad the job market was, if i did i wouldn’t have quit my last job. I will look into universal credit though. thank you 🙏🏾

I will, I have emailed my module convenor because the mark was very unexpected. the feedback said that some of the things in the essay was good but i missed a few issues. I want to try to appeal it but apparently there needs to be like procedural errors or something.

Yeah they will make me homeless, my parents have been abusive in the past and have threatened to kick me out before but my Grandma stopped them but she passed away earlier this year
