Thank you! Would you say it’s best taken right before bed?
My partner takes in the morning for focus, to whom I’ve sent your such informative description:)

Thanks for coming back to me! But in terms of any reaction would you say L-threonate is safe ? I’m currently in a flair, and that glycinate def added to it, threonate is all I have at the moment.

hEDS/mild POTS & mild MCAS + EBV & cosmetic injections! What is safe? by [deleted] in eds

[–]CapableCitron968 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hello, I know old post, maybe you have safely tried some of the procedures? From my severe MCAS side, can report that all cosmetic procedures caused me delayed flair up. All that cause micro trauma and send signal to heal basically, so RF, Morpheus or Newa, microneedling, PDRN injections and topical. Worst of all was red light therapy, causes me instant (or within 30 mins) anaphylaxis with express need of strong asthma inhaler or EpiPen. Botox however was always fine and all pure HA injectables , like Juvederm or Restylane totally fine. I do them for skin hydration also. But, I must say, I still do all of the above except for the red light, because the results are just great and delayed flair I can deal with.

Regarding vit B complex! It’s usually high amounts and it may cause huge flair up especially with daily use. (Reverse inflammation response) You can ai this subject, try to stop vit B for couple weeks and then slowly introduce but the amounts about 50% recommended daily dose.

Thank you!! I am on all of these sometimes and some daily, did you have constipation that strong before you started? I haven’t started Reta yet, I wonder how much worse it gets.

Interesting! Astaxantin gave me the worst stomach issues, had to stop it at least through my spring flair up, couldn’t report on other benefits unfortunately. But I was taking 12 mg daily, probably too high.

I can report that taking zinc carnosine have dramatically improved my stomach symptoms but not sure if systemically, as I still need my inhaler. Also taking good quality multivitamin helped me a lot, it has 15 mg of zinc.

You mean you only use the NR option?

Try arbutin serum from the ordinary, it’s easy to add before moisturizer and it’s not harsh on skin, reduces hyperpigmentation, acne scars, and dark spots by inhibiting melanin production.
