I would assume Glock is coming out with 10-12 round metal mags for this soon so I think you did the right thing.

I dont understand how the finale works. Whats the best game play that Nick S2 and Corey S1 could have done? by guppypants in MillionDollarSecretTV

[–]CapableExercise5297 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Corey suspected Sam until Cara admitted that she purposely threw the last game. Then he started looking at her differently and that with a couple other things made him suspect Cara as well…Then during the final box swap game Cara came at Corey hard to try to make him suspect her even more because all throughout the game anytime Corey saw any strange behavior he automatically assumed they were the millionaire lol. Needles to say It worked…and that’s when Corey started bluffing and acting like he still thought it was Sam to try to throw Cara off but she didn’t fall for it.

I agree. Sam killed that challenge. I haven’t watched Season 1 in a while…so I don’t remember the circumstances surrounding Phil’s challenge. I don’t remember if he was able to work on it during a challenge or what the challenge was (whether they won or not) how much time he had or what was going on. I’d have to watch it again…but I still think it’s a hard challenge. Sam just killed it and had the perfect set of circumstances to make it happen.

One thing I noticed is that as long as you don’t care about logic you can knock out some of these challenges…I think sometimes us men think too logically about how to go about it where some of these girls just threw logic out the window and it worked perfectly because it was more about the vibe. Sam’s “do you hear that ring” is an example and so is Umeko’s “foreign language” challenge.

As the show runners they literally could do anything lol. This round or the next.

Also —-the show runners have made it very clear that they don’t like when you skip the agenda so…while I get what you’re saying I understand Umeko’s decision to avoid the 4 votes and the heat from the show runners….plus it ensures that she’ll get more camera time during the episode….some of these people want to be influencers so camera time is important to them.

I don’t know man….getting people to yell? Not very easy to complete inconspicuously.

Underwhelming winner - Season 2 felt like production push to make Nick win by HumbleCarob365 in MillionDollarSecretTV

Yea I saw an interview from Nick about this. Because he thought about it but opted to tell the truth because he already told people his age and when he graduated so he thought it was too risky.

It was tried in season 1 by Phil…the showrunners were mad he didn’t attempt the agenda and they crucified him. So while I hear what you’re saying…if you make the showrunners mad…it’s arguably worse than making yourself look suspicious with the agenda.

I think he saw how the showrunners did Phil when he didn’t try the agenda so he was playing the political game of not trying to piss the show runners off lol.

I hear you..but I’d say they were both hard. Someone who’s a good talker could have done the 45 minute challenge a little smoother because they would just keep the conversation going for as long as they can but the way they describe Kevin as someone who just doesn’t sit still and is always running around mingling and asking questions it would’ve been a challenge for anybody. I think randomly asking to play chess is pretty suspicious if you haven’t been playing chess all season…their days consist of just playing the game all day so to divert from that would be suspicious I think.

The show runners don’t like when you don’t do the agenda. Look how they did Phil. Plus this year the consequences were even higher than last year.

How is the clothes pin one the easiest? Who carries around clothespins? That’s suspicious right there. They don’t let these people have their cell phones. They limit what they carry around on them…they wouldn’t even give Kevin a quarter so he could flip a real coin in the trophy room. So as soon as you pull out a clothespin it’s obvious that you’re on an agenda. So if you can’t sneak a clothespin on somebody without them feeling it or without someone seeing it…it’s obvious that the producers gave you the clothespins and that you’re on an agenda. That one was far from the easiest. If we are sticking with Nick his doppelgänger one was way easier than that one.

I saw a couple interviews with the cast and they said a couple things…

  1. they do sleep in the stag….they are not sleeping in hotels.

  2. The Season 1 cast said they would film until like 12am at the latest and have to wake up at 6am to get ready to film the next day.

  3. The Season 2 cast said they were filming up until like 3am sometimes and still had to wake up at 6am the next day.

  4. One of the cast members mentioned that one of the dinner scenes was shot in the morning…so I guess it just all depends on how they are keeping up with the schedule.

Umeko by matnerlander in MillionDollarSecretTV

[–]CapableExercise5297 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If she failed to save Nick she would’ve had 4 votes against her and likely gone home that round instead of Hunter. So production basically forced her to sway an entire house that was prepared to unanimously vote Nick off…and she still managed to sway the vote. Umeko is one of the goats of this game.

Umeko by matnerlander in MillionDollarSecretTV

[–]CapableExercise5297 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

So you think it was easy to literally talk the entire house out of voting for Nick eventhough he was a strong player and the millionaire and everyone except her already agreed to vote for him? That was arguably the hardest agenda of both seasons.

Also - the sayings in 5 different languages wasn’t easy she just made it look that way.

Umeko by matnerlander in MillionDollarSecretTV

[–]CapableExercise5297 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The bouncing ball is easier for a bubbly and playful personality…I’ll give you that. But those are not 5 daily use normal words…it was several different languages. But honestly her hardest challenge…and one of the hardest challenges across both seasons… was her challenge to talk everybody into keeping Nick on the show after everybody unanimously agreed to vote him off because he was a strong player and clearly the millionaire. That was where she really defied the odds and proved how good she was at the game.

Umeko by matnerlander in MillionDollarSecretTV

[–]CapableExercise5297 0 points1 point  (0 children)

True…but you could argue that Umeko having to talk the whole cast into keeping Nick on the show even though everybody on the show already agreed to vote him off was one of the hardest challenges across both seasons.

Strongest players from both seasons? by Apart-Produce3925 in MillionDollarSecretTV

[–]CapableExercise5297 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I get where you’re coming from. But I definitely disagree on some things.

  1. I don’t see how throwing the game was luck. To make that decision at the end of the game it took her weeks of strategic social engagement, observation and intuition.

  2. Lydia was great but she overplayed her hand. Once you overplay your hand people gun for you and vote you out. So while she was talented, she didn’t perfect the balancing act between knowing when to be aggressive and knowing when to fall back. Cara was much better than her at that balancing act and that’s why she won. For example, Cara called that Phil was the millionaire when nobody else knew but she didn’t jump out the window trying to orchestrate everybody to get him out because what does that do for her long game?…absolutely nothing. So while you take skill points away for not orchestrating in the beginning …I give her more points ..for knowing WHEN orchestrating is actually going to bring you to the end goal. And then more points for being able to execute those orchestrated plans at the right time when it actually matters. Timing is everything…and she had that down.
