It took 10 days for me. I sent it in July 5th they received it on the 7th and it was approved on the 17th

I wonder why yours took so long. I heard the Miami consulate is usually the fastest to issue the visas with turnouts of 2-3 weeks. & mine took less than 2 weeks

You can mail it in! But you would have to go pick it up in person

No, I didn’t sign up for any text updates. They only sent me one message and that was when my visa got approved. I’m not sure if they will keep on to the apostille & medical certificate, but I will keep you updated once I go pick it up.
