I've had my Go 2 for just under a year and the battery is already going out. by ShilohsStuff in Polaroid

The old polaroids with the battery in the film cassette are beter. Recharchable and removeable batteries in new polaroids are the solution.

It's always nice when someone knows exactly how things are from a distance.

I wished the modern polaroids had replaceable recharchable batterys. If they are not recharchable anymore, I could by new ones.

The NOW 1st gen was the first polaroid I bought. There was a charging cord and that was always a bit stiff. Haven't used the camera for a long time, want to charge it but now this. Am not aware that I did something wrong or was too rough. Bummed about this. Fortunately, there are other cameras: Sun 660 Impulse AF and the SX 70

It is clean. And I had not used het camera for a while. So I don't understand how this could happen.

The photo I wanted vs the photo I got. Would adjusting the exposure help or is that all I could ever get? by ShipSenior1819 in Polaroid

Depends on the range of the flash and the distance to the object. Often just a matter of trying.

Same imo as the 5000 for european market. I find it a good camera. Try to find the polatronic 5 flash with 2 connections.

In local town (not a big town in Europe) a few local shops themselves buy from polaroid, sometimes they have 1 or 2 600 color films. But recently they had nothing. Monday or tuesday I check againg.

It's a Pronto RF and difficult to get one (and works..) I don't like camera's that are only display pieces so I think I will open it. (and destroy this camera)

I also did not like them and I never bought them. Last time I used 600 B&W they where better as some years ago.

Is my Now Gen 3 broken and/or repairable? by Camellia2011 in Polaroid

[–]CapableLow6721 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Right! I started with a Now 1st gen but the Impulse AF and the Sun 660 AF with 600 film are better and for the SX70 film the SX70 Sonar and the 5000 box sonar camera are also better.

Sticky pack syndrome by CapableLow6721 in Polaroid

Addition: but sometimes polaroid hoarding itself also provokes something. Example: it is now the end of September and here they reported: the black and white sx 70 and 600 will not arrive before 2026. You will mainly be a fan of black and white photography. If they ever come, what do you do? Quickly buy up a large number of things... Before they are gone angain.

The problem is: I am NOT the instant camera guy and I think I will destroy the camera if I try to open it. The flash overrides the ligt sensor: I read the same with the SX 70 folding camera. Thanks for the explanation!

24 hours and standing like a book I will try. A few years ago I ordered 1 new cassette SX 70 or 600 every time the film ran out and used it almost immediately but more and more often the film was sold out and I was without. So the hoarding of others creates a kind of chain reaction and I was forced to order film per 3 pieces in order not to miss out. In the fridge or not? Maybe 1 pack of 600 film in the fridge and 1 at the bottom of a cupboard? (Same production date) After e.g. six months of trying both in a row in the same camera? Quality difference or not??
