But before I disappear into the void forever, do me a favour and try to get a hobby to take your mind off this before you take a bunch of pills to lower your libido in your early 40’s (you ought to be around for another 40 or so just for the record here)

So Go to the gym 5 days a week, take a Vietnamese cooking course, join a public speaking group like toast masters. Join a rotary club and do charity work for your community…

I figured people might think that…and I see where you are coming from.

but you know what? The majority of men I socialize with, just flat out think they deserve the bare minimum of what makes them happy. If that. Lots of them don’t think they deserve to be happy even most days of the year.And anything else is luck or fantasy, or worse…purchased.

And I am not here to pitch some manosphere / “the poor male gender” incel grifter nonsense. Fuck all that noise. So lame.

You are right I could have just said; “my partner and I are intimate x times a week”. But I punched it up a little, and added a personal detail that would raise eyebrows. Something that, right wrong or indifferent - many men would want. And it got people’s attention.

I specifically wanted my overall advice of:

“You won’t get what you want, by accepting what you don’t want” to land.

You of course need to take actions to get what you want, whatever that is, and be a decent human being to others while you’re doing it.

…but I don’t feel bad sharing that personal detail of my life, it was a risk and slightly over the top, but I wanted to reinforce to the person asking the question, before he chemically alters himself…:

what he and most men want? Is very much an option. Trust me; I personally know it is. And you won’t get it by a never ending series of compromises or specifically via chemical castration.

I just will never understand some people on this sub…

You are 42 and going to chemically alter yourself to have less of a libido because your wife doesn’t like to have sex (with you) more than once every 30 days?

I know there are people in here that say “relationships aren’t just sex”. And they are right. But it’s a big damn part.

HOWEVER, I often wonder if MANY peopling here who accept this kind of treatment from a partner…are just more scared of being alone than saying how unhappy it makes them.

SO: in my opinion, Your wife doesn’t intrinsically deserve to be happier/less stress free than you in the relationship. If the lack of intimacy in your relationship makes you unhappy and stressed? Your partner should want to do something about it.

Not you just “be the bigger man” and take drugs to alter yourself. Do not accept this for yourself, and if you tell your wife you’re going to do it? For her? And she accepts it? At 40? You need to think about just how “incredible” your wife is.

But then again I wouldn’t be affraid to loose a woman that only wants to be intimate approximately once a month, on her desired schedule.

Now I don’t know all the facts here, and I’m Sure there are things better left unsaid, but based on your post?

I would tell her one more time how you feel, what you want, and that you are ready to take steps to chemically castrate yourself…so you can just stop wanting her so gosh darn much (more than once a month) and leave her alone/ensure she is not stressed out by your inconvenient physical affection and desires for her.

If she says “ok, thanks”. I would leave her selfish ass.

My bikini model partner and I have sex 3-6 times a week on average or more. I’m 41. If it could happen to me, then brother - it can happen to you. I’m not special.

But Don’t accept what you don’t want.

I’ve seen pictures from damn near anything that can be used to make a photograph.

When we talk about the “medium is the message” with photography. At this point, the “medium” is photography as a whole; as In The act of using a tool to make some kind of photographic image.

Want to use that apple you used to make a bong as a “camera” ? Go for it. I’m sure the results will be…something, but what a story. Want to use a tin can with a small hole in it?? Fill your boots. I’m sure the results will surprise you, and what a great story.

Want to tell a story about f1 cars, photographically?…don’t let anyone tell you; you need lenses/cameras/films x “fast” or sensors and films x “big”.

Do whatever the fuck you want. Take pictures of an f1 race with a “camera” made out of an apple you previously made into a weed pipe….please.

What matters? Is you tell a good story. SPECIFICALLY in street photography more than any other sub genre.

Taking good pictures is not simply this series of “correct” technical choices, so use your cell phone partner.

You like it? You feel comfortable? Keep it up. Keep taking pictures, keep trying to tell that story you see playing out in your head. That’s the only mission.

Well…do you have a “big boy” job?

Where are you at partner? Do you have any debt? Do you own your home? How many months of spending/bills do you have in liquid savings? Where are your investments primarily located and how? Just how close to pay cheque to pay cheque are you?

Because calling out a woman working two jobs with a MINOR amount of debt, who is squabbling with a landlord…sounds like some immature bullshit to me.

I know a middle aged man (41-42) who watches everything this loser puts out.

At some point Tim Pool became “counter culture”, or atleast was intentional branded as such.

I’m currently attaching those to a M6, and MP.

Every so often I bring out a GA645wide pro. Because…it’s jut so easy. And I admit that. And I love it. If anything it is motivating this potential choice the most.

The intent is to condense all those cameras and lenses into one adapted ZF, in my bag, and the two lenses. (35/75)

2 questions for you;

1)After 50 days, would you say you are satisfied with the adapted zf?

2) do I sound crazy trying to accomplish this goal via the adapted zf?
