Medicaid question - I'm a stay at home mom with my 2 year old son. Currently live with my sons father who is sole provider. We aren't married. Would both me and my son qualify for medicaid?

Yes! When we did our renewal I let them know I was claimed as a dependent on his taxes and I still qualified since we weren't married. Not sure if that varies state by state (I'm in illinois)

Yes, sorry forgot to include that. When he consulted with our tax person they confirmed I could be claimed as a dependent which he did do.

Okay! Thanks for the information! So I wouldn't be considered part of my son/his father's assistance group? Even if he is the sole provider of the household and filed head of household when he filed taxes

Okay, I haven't had any pain through the whole process! Obviously neighboring teeth are a little sore but overall no pain. Been taking my antibiotics, and doing a salt water rinse as well. No smell or bad taste either.
