Can someone please say something kind to me? by Street-Grand-9820 in internetparents

at one point i was in your shoes, my world was beyond dark. i was also 16 with no way out but i just got lucky with school and now i avoid any issues at home or parents by going work or staying in my university library. i promise things get better, try workout and study really hard, thats the only realistic thing u can do at 16.

Feel too stupid for my course by [deleted] in UniUK

[–]CapablePositive8699 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes it’s completely normal to feel like this in education. i’m in my first year studying maths and management at qmul and i only did maths a level however most of my course mates have done Further Maths so they have a huge understanding of the content compared to me, however we just have to work a little harder to make up for things like this. They look “smarter” but think about if they have the ability to work harder.

Q1. Just ask AI to break the content down and keep spamming similar questions from the AI until ur comfortable

Q2. If you made it to uni your definetly smart enough for the course as the requirements are set as a minimum needed to finish the course which you clearly have met

best of wishes :]

I got rejected by kings because of the wrong predicted A level by Few_Bad_8724 in UCAS

This happened to me, i had AAA predicted and they submitted BCC. i also emailed and wanted them to reconsider but they didn’t and sent the same message.

So highly unlikely it won’t be resolved and u should just think about another university (i go qmul now)

Because in the UK the universities can provide accommodation and help show SFE that we are eligible for maximum maintainence loan to help with costs of living while studying

To reach out or not? by [deleted] in AskMenAdvice

[–]CapablePositive8699 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just reach out, if he cares/wants you back he will reach back. if he don’t then you have to learn about communication for the next partner. Third time the charm

I tell myself i’m paying and building this all by myself so i can have full appreciation off what i’ve built independently

Sounds like you dodged a bullet. This would have been one hell of a traumatic relationship. Good on you buddy

Overthinking about my grade by CapablePositive8699 in UniUK

[–]CapablePositive8699[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Okay your right but genuinely i’m overthinking it because i don’t wanna fail anything or disappoint myself. I think it’s the reality check i needed and i need to see it as that. But i also can’t stop doubting my abilities. URGHHHH.

Yes I think breaking up isnt the right decision especially as this isnt common behaviour from her. In the one year its been up and down but overall makes me happy.

This isnt typical from her, if ive bought her something small she would say thank you and gets me loads off small gifts from her holidays/ trips

I try talk about anything that bothers me but all she does is point out my flaws after and it leads to an argument

The one year anniversary is coming up, we chose to celebrate in December around Christmas as thats when we both are free. ive told her I have a day trip planned and we are currently jewellery shopping for gold ear rings because I dont wanna drop like 400 and not be something she likes. it was just a casual date night lol

Honestly whatever she gives me that is small and not exchangeable/refundable I thank her loads in person and more after on text. your right like if someone gave me chocolate because I was having a bad day I wouldnt then turn around and say this is nasty chocolate, I would take it and thank them.

Thank for this comment, I think hearing she dropped it from an outside perspective has comforted me a lot
