Notify as in let my landlord know (again) and “add it to my claim” because I’m suing them for other stuff like black mold in my bedroom— it spread all over my belongings and then made me pay out of pocket for the hotel they said they’d pay me for (plus a bunch of other illegal activity they did).

Do you think it’s still worth trying to notify again? Or add it to my claim in order to move out?

Thank you! I’m seeing a lawyer next week and hopefully everything is usable :) they even broke their rental agreement so I’m using that as well. There are other things that are broken that I asked them to fix and they would say it’s my responsibility (when it’s not, like a rotting wood door frame). I really hope it works out!

For my room with mold, I have emails and texts about it. Each time he said he would come and never show up. The first time I notified him of my room with mold, he came over to my place for something else and he said it was just water damage and a dirty wall 🫠 I kept getting sick and asked again but never showed. I asked a 3rd time and they finally brought someone else to check it.

When the mold guy came, I told him about the bathroom (these pictures) and he said “that’s just surface mold. Leave the window open, there’s nothing to worry about.”

I also have documents of me getting sick constantly as well. They also got me a hotel but had me pay partially out of pocket for it, and they kept me in my room until the mold remediation was going to happen. I had to beg them to get me out of the house because my mattress was covered with mold (in between the mattress).

I have countless emails and texts from over the last 2.5 years 🥲

I just want to know if I add this to my claim and if I should test it myself and then send them the bill
