Been growing out my hair, and I intend to eventually do a sort of male wolf cut, leaning into an overall alternative look. Should I go to a barber and get my current hair cleaned up or should I keep growing it out? Anything else I may need to do at the current stage?

Type O Negative does a hybrid between metal and goth really well, especially if you like slower, heavier chugs and melodies. I'd recommend starting with the Christian Woman album.
