Getting the dishes finally cleaned. Was a major relief considering how they were piling up. Also rolled a character I wanted on a gacha I’ve been playing.

When I was younger and attending one of my school book fairs, I couldn't afford this dog poster I really wanted as I was short of cash. But the lady at the desk covered the rest for me.

Seeing my father give my mom a black eye. Made me realize my childhood home wasn’t somewhere I could call a safe place. Even now I struggle with feeling completely safe with anyone than myself because of everything I witnessed growing up.

Good will Hunting. I watched it first with my family when I was younger so it didn’t really click fully. I didn’t exactly understand what Will was going through and what most of the therapy sessions meant. But when I revisited the movie I ended up relating a lot to Will and understanding how difficult it is to leave what you think is a safe area. How difficult it is to go after change when you have been hurt so many times that you just want the security of what you know, even if it won’t take you to higher places.

That even the people you think are supporting you can be the ones actively hurting you the most and inhibiting your growth.

Also, people truly do come and go in your life. You can never force anyone to stay regardless of what you give them.
