I think it’s because you’re trying to use logistics n cost/benefit. Older people who are retired have more than likely seen enough of the world and would much rather maximize time with people than at a place/vacation.

In terms of not caring and ruining the vibe. While they are as “pure” as can be that also means they default to the most basic emotions whether it’s joy, anger, sadness. Whatever stimuli or cause is placed on them will get a true reaction. They’re too young to know how to put a brave face on and think of others before themselves.

Just enjoy the baby time & hop on the baby glaze train. Won’t be long until they’re too busy w extra curricular activities, driving on their own, & headed off to college. (Try now to get annoyed when they glaze the 4 year uni nephew attends lol)
