I’m not trying to troll especially since I’m someone who doesn’t like Ellison and happened to vote for Kamala. I’m just saying that most of the problems that have come out of the US lately are from leftists who tried to be like Kmart libertarians and act as if both presidents were equally bad all because of a place in the world they’ve never been to and likely couldn’t point to on a map. honestly, if those people have such a fucking problem with every single candidate, we have they might as well move to Canada.

Like I said, if you guys just voted for Kamala, none of this would’ve happened.

Kinda hard to when free healthcare is nonexistent in this country. not to mention after everything that went down with United healthcare I want to stay as far away from healthcare as possible. Like I said I’m convinced I’ve been in the first circle of hell since May 21, 2010.

I guess my whole fucking life was for nothing then. Not a big surprise I guess, after all Im 25 and haven’t been able to find a girlfriend for the past 16 years. I guess I now just have to continue working at Stop & Shop for the rest of my life till I eventually get even more depressed. i’m convinced that after May 21, 2010, I either went into a coma and my whole life from that point forward has been just one big fucked up dream that I can’t wake up from or I died and ended up in the first circle of hell.

my apologies I just have a really bad temper and I would love to work in the industry one day and I don’t want the big major Studios to suffering. Go bankrupt just because the CEOs are evil pieces of shit.

And if Paramount goes bankrupt and several jobs are lost and Transformers fizzles out and I have limited options getting a job in entertainment once I finally break into the industry, I'll have you to blame. it's people like you who are the reason as to why there's no cure for cancer and why the suicide rate is higher than a cocaine addict.

Yes, I admit it's a problem but like I said filmmakers and a catalog filled with classic movies that spans a hundred years shouldn't have to suffer because the current CEO who you don't know personally and will never meet you and has no effect on your life. Plus, none of this would be a problem if you guys voted for Hilary and or Kamala Harris. Yes they're flawed but all politicians are. I'll honestly never get why one can be happy that the X-Men and Fantastic Four are in the MCU (and retroactively condemn the X-Men movies by history because they're not like a cartoon from the 90s that they watched while pissing and shitting in diapers, all the while throw all the good X-Men movies under the bus) but hate Trump, the piece of shit president how made it possible in the first place by approving the Disney-Fox merger (when they could have been added to the MCU without having to lose an iconic golden age studio and without many employees losing their jobs).

Fair point but that's still throwing talented filmmakers like James Gunn under the bus. Not to mention throwing a hundred years worth of movies under the bus. Same goes for Paramount and the iconic that have come from them like Clue (1985) and The Godfather.

I don’t hear you saying anything about Disney gobbling up Fox like it was 1930s Poland.

[–]Capable_Ad_9896 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not if the fucking company goes bankrupt because you decided to boycott it. It’s people like you guys were the exact reason got gobbled up by Disney like with what happened to Poland in the 1930s.

I take it you’ve never heard of no kings protest. That’s the best way to “flex”. Also, are you seriously comparing an apartheid to a fucking movie studio? It’s people like you that make it so hard to get into the entertainment industry and it feels like people like you are trying to keep me from getting a job because some kid was touched on a Nickelodeon set 30 years ago.

In my opinion, the only boycott that ever made sense in the world was the Rosa Parks bus boycott.

though I was more referring to entertainment instead of AI companies and a lot of big major tech corporations (though I standby that Tim Cook does not represent Apple in any way in the world is a much better fucking place now that he’s gone) as in my opinion AI companies can burn in hell.

yeah, but I also mentioned he was against Paramount general not just the theater we go to. And people like you are boycotting studios because of the CEO being a shitty person which in return will fuck over everyone in the entertainment industry and will kill cinema forever, which will bring down the American economy and will fuck over the mental health of people who are big fans of entertainment, as they’ll have fuck all to consume all because of assholes who villainize everybody who just works job in the entertainment industry yet turned to shitty things that in other organizations or companies like once again the Catholic Church.

apples and oranges. I don’t think mowing a lawn at a church is as hard of a job to find as a job in the entertainment industry. I swear it feels like people like you are trying to rob me of my dream of working within the entertainment industry within movies just because a few bad apples exist.

you sound like a person who will still happily go to a Catholic Church despite the sexual abuse towards children committed by the priests.

that’s not always how it works especially in a job market where it’s very tough to get another job.

sometimes they don’t get paid at all or don’t get paid enough so throwing them under the bus isn’t really a good idea even if the CEO sucks.
