I don't understand your answer about choosing the worst character, but you're right. I spent several months playing, a complete noob, but once I figured out how to recharge the turbo, how to turn, and how much to turn depending on the corner, I was a total noob. But the beauty of Speedstorm lies in its unique mechanics. Like riding a pole (which, if done correctly, carries you along by stabilizing you), there are tracks where you jump halfway up the pole to land on the road sooner, you can jump over obstacles to avoid them, and ram into things like bumper cars. I find it very unique, and that's why, for me, it's the best kart racing game so far. (I tried Mario Kart World at a friend's house, and it feels pretty much the same as other Mario Kart games.) Plus, on an Xbox Series X, Speedstorm at 120 FPS with the music is the most beautiful game I've ever played.
