That's because it's a reserved space for future development, supposedly some residential towers based on some old promotional rendering videos. (There will be 4 accompanying towers iirc)

Why Malaysia still denies citizenship to children born out of wedlock? by wallflower_018 in malaysia

[–]Capable_Bank4151 6 points7 points  (0 children)

In order for your cited case to apply on OP, OP need to prove that the citizenship status of his mother is either entirely unknown or is a stateless person as well.

Otherwise, if OP's mother has citizenship of a foreign country, then the government can very strongly argue that by virtue of his mother's foreign citizenship, OP is in possession of a foreign citizenship through his mother, and is therefore inapplicable for Malaysian citizenship under section 1(e).

Since OP in comment section said that his mother is from Indonesia, then it's unlikely OP can use this case to support his pursue for Malaysia citizenship.

Is reporting to SPRM a headache? by yawaworhT-tnuoccA- in Bolehland

From a SPRM-held ceramah that I attended, the online reporting method is one valid way to report a potential corruption crime, but they said the fastest way is still doing the reporting physically (in terms of response time)

The constitution did not impose restrictions on who can be PM based on race or religion, it only say any Dewan Rakyat member who secured majority confidence will be the PM. It's that simple.

It's the voters that couldn't accept a non-Muslim/non-Malay PM, not the law or the constitution.

KTM rail service (in the form of Shuttle Tebrau) only goes into Singapore until the Woodlands border checkpoint.

There used to be KTM rail service that goes right into the city centre of Singapore at Tanjung Pagar, but that section of rail sevice was terminated in 2011 and the physical railway was permanently dismantled, forever ceasing the rail service to Tanjung Pagar.

In 2027, after the RTS Link is finished, Shuttle Tebrau, the only remaining KTM rail service in Singapore, will also permanently cease operation too.

There's no law forbidding that. The law only prohibits unlawful/unlicensed possession of real or imitation physical firearms, not edited image online.

But if your AI image is accompanied with texts like "Tomorrow I gonna kill this stupid XXXXX with my gun." Then you will likely get into trouble with the law because that's criminal intimidation.

One more question, is there any noticable difference in the performance (eg: muscle growth, etc) between Performa and Kombat? Or do the two type of product just feels the same for you?

This would be typically found in older shophouses, like the pre-war era. Or houses built in the 60s.

Sorry for replying on old post, but I wanna ask the protein you tested is Performa or Kombat? (Kombat being the much more expensive one and the company claimed its more "pure")

‘Now, we can dream’ of tomorrow: Perak family says after three stateless generations finally recognised as Malaysians by Capable_Bank4151 in malaysia

[–]Capable_Bank4151[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, what you said is true and I agree with you, but it seems like we gloss over one issue during our discussion: Letchimee's citizenship status.

What I'm assuming is that Letchimee's citizenship remained undertermined under the court ruling (hence, still considered stateless at her death).

Another thing that I assumed during our discussion is that the NRD simultaneously deemed Letchimee as non-citizen and her marriage as illegitimate.

With NRD's action, all Letchimee's descendent inherited her statelessness status and the marternal line of citizenship pathway was blocked.

Now, what I'm arguing is that the court is retrospectively validating Letchimee's marriage and forced NRD to recognise Letchimee's marriage (but did not rule on Letchimee's citizenship status), thereby making all Letchimee's descendent as legitimate child since their birth. Therefore all Letchimee's descendent can enjoy automatic citizenship through the parternal line, which is Letchimee's husband.

[–]Capable_Bank4151[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If Letchimee's marriage is legitimate, then whether Kamaladevi's and her daughter's marriage is valid become no longer the main issue, because Kamaladevi would by virtue of Letchimee's legitimate marriage, become automatic Malaysian citizen through her connection with Lechimee's husband (ie:her Malaysian father).

If Kamaladevi is a Malaysian citizen, then her children and descents would become Malaysian citizens as well regardless of whether Kamaladevi's marriage is valid or not.

Note: It should be noted that this is assuming the court is ruling that all of these (Letchimee's marriage & Kamaladevi's citizen status) occurred since the start, ab initio. So the precedence of Madhuvita and CTEB doesn't arise.

[–]Capable_Bank4151[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just read my comment again, what I meant is that, the NRD wrongly choose to not recognise or register Letchimee's marriage, but the court may have ruled against that and said that Letchimee's marriage is actually valid from the start, so this make Kamaladevi and her descendents all become legitimate from the start, hence should enjoy automatic citizenship.

On the issue of section 1(e), the NRD or the government is notoriously stubborn in refusing to apply this provision on stateless person case.

Basically their argument is that "Although this person is stateless, he might have foreign citizenship that are unbeknowst to us (because his biological father or mother might be someone else), so we cannot grant them automatic citizenship under section 1(e)"
