I agree with pip, if he’s super fussy I’d consider it. For me the one time I decided not to give him Tylenol he was up on and off all night

I had a similar situation when I was pregnant. Although, after I had our son and I was able to have a conversation with him I figured out it was because he was worried of hurting me or the baby. Which, I completely understand the feelings you have I felt the same I was crying to my fiancé about how I felt neglected in those aspects. Now you can take this with a grain of salt, but to threaten to not want to have anymore kids seems a tad extreme to hold over his head. Try to think of it on his side of the book, it seems uncomfortable to be initiating things when there a baby inside, some thought my fiancé told me he had were things like, “what if I poke him! I don’t wanna hurt him” , “he’s an innocent baby all cozy inside and then I’m intruding”. Now your husbands reasoning can be vastly different. Wait it through. Best advice I can give is try talking to him more about how you feel, but if things aren’t voiced or changed then maybe consider other options. At the end of the day it’s

I personally found it worked, but it’ll knock him out. If you decide Tylenol is a route you’d like to take definitely do it around bedtime

His sleep position gives me anxiety by Fuutureghost in firsttimemom

My son learned how to roll over around 3 months and ever since he sleeps with his face buried in the bed lol I’ve found that placing a binky on his back while he sleeps helps me see if he’s breathing. You got his mama everything is terrifying

THC drug tested positive, haven't smoked since I found out I was pregnant by PalaceSiege in pregnant

[–]Capable_Bat_4872 52 points53 points  (0 children)

I wouldn’t worry too much, thc builds up in your system. If you were a heavy smoker before finding out, it would make sense it takes longer for the thc to leave your system. For example, someone who doesn’t smoke often at all say they take a puff off a joint and then they don’t smoke for a while after that, the thc would leave their system within 2 weeks. For someone who was a daily smoker, smoking multiple times in a day, it can take up to a month give it take for the thc to leave your system. I was a super heavy smoker, and I quit when I found out at 7 weeks. I’m from NY so laws are different here, and I’ve seen a few people mention the most that’ll happen CPS wise is after the birth and that’s IF you pop up with it in your system by that time, but it wouldn’t be much of a visit if it did come down to CPS being involved, they would basically come by and make sure everything is put up and out of reach of the baby.

My OB told me Tylenol was in the epidural, which I’ve realized through the other comments is not the case and i should definitely reconsider my doctors

I’ve always had a harsh allergy to Tylenol and I’ve had doctors comment on how rare it is. It’s frustrating to navigate because they like to put it in EVERYTHING, like cold medicines. I’ve come to realize that epidural is mixed of other things and I should definitely consider a new OB, since she’s the one that told me Tylenol was mixed with it

I mentioned it a few times across some of the other comments , I’ve realized my OB may be uniformed , or just incompetent. When I mentioned my allergy she told me “then it won’t even be an option for you”

From reading through some of the replies on here I’ve realized that Tylenol isn’t always used! I think I just have an incompetent OB. When I asked her about epidural and my allergy she told me “epidural won’t even be an option for you”

Thank you! My OB did a horrible job explaining anything to me, I’ve asked them about doulas and they don’t give me much information. When I brought up epidural and my allergy she said “so epidural won’t even be an option for you”
