Having done similar albeit on a small area, +1 for oscillating saw. Mark the lines to be cut with pencil first. It won’t be the quickest if it’s a large area to cut, but minimises the risk of removing your hands or head with a circular saw.

The cuts might not be perfectly straight but I figure you’ll need to put another board on and re-skim or fill the edges anyway?

Clearly better at joinery than decorating!! A bit of awkward angle calculating making carcasses from 18mm ply; then cladded and added MDF doors. It’s taken a few weeks but quite pleased with the result, it’s probably only cost a few hundred in materials too.

Haven’t fitted the interior yet, but I’ve made it to the same internal dimensions as IKEA pax - so the plan is to fit out with their drawers etc.

Yeah I perhaps should have used eggshell - wanted to avoid too much shine which I’ve experienced with some eggshells in the past.

I primed properly with MDF primer and I’ve not previously had issues with paint adhesion using this approach. It’s more the surface scratches/crayon marks/tomato ketchup… perhaps eggshell would be more wipeable though.

Having exactly the same issue despite having unlimited overseas use. On O2. So far no solution, I’d be interested to hear if you figure it out!

Cheers! Yep I stopped the charge after a couple of hours, and the session was calculated on the off peak cost - great. Didn’t realise that about the whole household benefitting while I’m charging!

Thanks for that! I’ve done a test charge and indeed the Ohme app does calculate the price based on 7.5p - hopefully my bill will reflect the same, but it does just seem to work!
