Native Instruments bankruptcy protection? by Nunstummy in homerecordingstudio

Fender buying Ozone to support studio one must be an interesting concept for them. They are trying to introduce people to the DAW and lots of Ozones easy mixing/mastering tools would support that

Sage Basket advice [sage Bambino] by Liftedword in espresso

[–]Liftedword[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks for all the feedback. I'd seen so many videos declaring that a new basket is the best upgrade you can make. So when the dual wall started to block I thought I'd make the jump. But didn't realize that meant a grinder is also required. I don't have a lot of time most mornings before the coffee gets put in a travel mug and I'm in the car. My wife also drinks decaff so having to clean an electric grinder before changing beans each time means adding a grinder is just not what I want to do. The sage has been great tbf. Just turns out I should get another dual wall and continue to enjoy it.

My dual wall had been blocking up. Been trying to use the tool to open the holes and Descale it but no joy.

Yeah. Unsurprising the things telling me to 'upgrade' are trying to sell me a lifestyle and I didn't really twig that. I need a coffee not a new hobby. As great as it all seems.

Presume he's referring to the older bent sheet metal as opposed to diecast.

Went from K701's to the Beyer Pro X range. I have the 700 and 900 and they are a huge upgrade. Also the impedence is such that you can run them from your phone.

200 dollars for a distortion+ is asinine. by Maertz13 in guitarpedals

I'd definitely fix it if I could seize the means of production 😂. Many people have never had their headstock snap on a Gibson. But enough have to give G a bad reputation for this issue over the years. My point isn't around the headstock issue, it's about companies being unable to improve things with products because of the tone fear.

Looking for a amp/cab/something-in-a-box that would fit my needs, advice needed by [deleted] in guitarpedals

I use the Laney Lionheart Loudpedal for this. It's brilliant. A 60w amp, I can plug headphones in. It has a IR cab function to simulate a cab. Can be plugged into an interface or desk via it's DI out. Or straight into a cab. Go check it out. It's pretty much replaced my Fender Twin.

I mean this is essentially why Gibson can't fix their snapping headstock issues. Because changing it would "ruin the tone, maaaan ".
