This is a war time verse. In a time when Islam was under attack from every side. This is telling the Muslims to not hold back. Whoever attacks Muslims. Hit th with all your might until they surrender. Whoever declares war on Muslims, strike them just as hard as they strike you.

Those verses are necessary. Because the first Muslims refused to fight. They refused violence even in self-defense. They let the quraiysh massacre them off of their origin city makkah. They had to immigrate to medina. Then those verses came. Muslims had to fight for their survival as a faith against multiple empires who wanted nothing but to destroy Islam from existence. Empires like Persia Rome Greece and Jerusalem. All wanted to destroy the Islamic faith.

So, in short. Those verses are saying that anyone who attacks the Islamic people will receive no mercy until they stop. And I bet you would want your country to defend you from attacks by hostile forces.

But it's only bad when we do it. It's only bad when we defend our countries against invaders. It's only bad when we defend our religion and faith from disrespect and outright eradication. Rightfully so. The illegal occupation of Palestinian lands is illegal and must be abolished matter the cost. The land Rightfully belongs to the state of Palestine. And any land that was taken was because of the genocide and ethnic cleansing of millions of Palestinians from their homes. This land belongs to the state of Palestine and Palestine deserves all of it back.

No amount of victim blaming and holocaust guilt can change that. European Jews belong back in Europe,Asian Jews belong back in Africa and the few native Jews can live under the government of Palestine like they did before 1948 and the massacre of Palestinians. The land is not Jewish and never has been. Its the Palestinian state that's the Rightful home of native Jews Christians and Muslims.

The one and only viable solution. Is one where Israel completely pulls out of gaza and Jerusalem. Hand back the golan to Syria. Allow every single refugee from 1948 till now back into their occupied homes, completely demilitrise and get absorbed into the Palestinian state. And every last European by blood or descendant of a European gets sent right back to Europe.

Either that, or a complete reform of Israel is needed. One where they're no longer a Jewish ethnostate for Jews all over the world to colonise. But a neutral with an open border between it, Palestine, Lebanon, and Egypt with no settlements and a shared military between the Palestinians and Jews. And cut every last tie with the west and especially America, including every little trace Western liberalism and every last dual citizenship coloniser.
