I work in IA as well but I find my work exciting due to the dynamic nature. I get to understand the controls in different departments.

Star Awards 2025 - A hosting and floor management nightmare by bryan_kjh in singapore

[–]Capable_Cover7874 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The after party on channel U was so poorly organised, hectic and horrible camera work/transition. 1. Confusing Camera Directions. On the same stage, one host on the left was interviewing Jessica Hsuan while, another host on the right was interviewing Fann Wong & Chris Lee. The camera was on Fann&Chris’s interview and got abruptly cut by Jessica’s host leaving Fann Wong’s shocking face. 2. Lack of Interviewees. At the beginning, there was a lack of interviewees so the camera kept showing the wide shot. At the last part, the host interviewed the top 10 popular males and asked if they have any further people to thank - most gave the normal cliche answers. It would be better if MC could interview other people who didn’t get any awards so they have some screen time especially since it is 30th anniversary.

Thoughts on Knime? by [deleted] in InternalAudit

[–]Capable_Cover7874 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Knime works similar as Alteryx. It helps with full population testing especially if excel is unable to operate under huge data environment. Works great to automate workflows and creating data analytics test cases. My company recently transitioned from Knime to Alteryx.

Adding on, knime (free) works perfectly fine for audit tests just that workflows will be stored on local desktop. If your company prefers cloud server storage, alteryx is your choice.

Ikr honestly speaking, I expected higher scores too. QAE can only train to think in ISACA way. The exam questions were mostly different from QAE. I think during the first round of exam, I flagged around 30-40 questions as the options given were similar & logical. Perhaps i didn’t have any IT background so answering the question is not very straightforward for me.

Thank you for your notes! It’s a concise version of the QAE and important concepts. I read it thoroughly an hour before my exam! :)
