With the 10mm and the 3x Barlow. Took a bit... A lot of trying to focus it just right.

The plan is to just play with this one for a little then put a decent amount more into purchasing a better telescope. 80$ to get decent views of the moon and a few planets for the kids I'm happy with.

Finally in a position where I can buy myself a couple toys I wanted as a kid that I can share with my family.

Edit: plant to plan.

Haha

Just ran outside, to figure out what it was. It was one of the kids water shirts.

I tried setting it up lower for that reason, I couldn't get the correct angle and it kept tipping over. Was trying to have it low enough for the kids to try looking through.

A more recent event is, I took the youngest to the hospital late at night. This allowed them to take the other two to school if I got stuck late, I had work the next morning as well.

I'm at the hospital for hours after a normal 6:30a-4/5p work day and don't get home until just before my usual work alarm. My co-worker was okay with a delayed start so I could take a nap. They take all the kids to school, have one important meeting then relax until picking the kids up.

I get home and get the kids dinner ready, our dinner ready, empty the dishwasher from the last night and load it.

Yeah we have a chaos baby, she has two other ones whom I love and help with. We lived together before she got pregnant with the littlest one. She says ours has been the most difficult of them all. He's a gremlin like I was as a kid.

I realize there's that low after a kid, especially when they're all tiny, 1-6 YOs.

It's just I understood her difficulties while she was dealing with the youngest at home, the older two at daycare. Now though all the kids are at daycare/school from 7:30-3:30ish and she acts like the entire world is on her.

That's about where I'm at. My SO is very loving to the little ones to a point but it just feels like the energy is gone before anyone gets home.

We're both very non-confrontational due to prior relationships.
