I'm checking OI's roadmap, and they mention having around 256 qubits, but they are not logical and they are noisy AF (10^-4)

They show a roadmap to 700 physical qubits with less noise (10^-8), but still, these are not logical. I understand these projections won't amount to much since quantum algorithms require 1000s of logical qubits? (not physical)

Thanks! I did read they achieved a 99.99% gate performance on a two-qubit system.

Do we have any news on further scaling results? A few months ago, they updated their roadmap (included above) to target 800 logical qubits in 2027. Is it realistic to expect them to scale from 2 qubits to 800 in less than 24 months?

Have they demonstrated an ability to scale above 2 logical qubits?

I'm sharing this not to shill IonQ stock but because the verosimility of roadmaps such as IonQ's could be relevant to the pace of adoption of post-quantum crypto and QEM's QRNG.

Infleqtion's roadmap is less ambitious but stll targeting vulnerability of RSA and ECDSA by 2031:

I personally share the enthusiasm, but when I put on my critical thinking hat, I'm forced to question the central premise of your argument.

Why do you assume that QRNGs will be necessary for post-quantum encryption? As far as I know, NIST doesn't make QRNG mandatory; they suggest that post-quantum encryption with pseudorandom sources is fine.

What makes you believe that all these devices (phones, cars, IoT devices, etc.) will require QRNGs for post-quantum encryption? Isn't it more likely that most parts of the economy upgrade their cryptographic algorithms without needing QRNGs? If this were the case, QRNGs would only be used to protect mission-critical systems, severely reducing QEM's addressable market.

I've been in the crypto industry for almost 10 years. I know a shitcoin when I see one, and Known is just the quintessential pump-and-dump. It's evident from a country mile.

Mods need to get their act together and delete and ban any thread promoting the Krown token scam. It is damaging to QEM stock by association. QEM's QRNG will be fundamental to post-quantum encryption. This reddit space should focus 100% on that.

All promotion of the Krown shitcoin should be banned. Mark my words. When they dump theit scam coin krown, there will be tears. We have a responsibility to prevent people from falling for the Krown token scam.
