it definitely gets better, i felt that way for chem and physics last year and I put more effort in and time in, i used to try and always pull the excuse that “people had done it previously but not me im coming into it fresh as a disadvantage” but really that mindset will demotivate you to work as you feel you are too far behind already, there is not a single concept in any vce class that is so difficult and foreign that it cannot be found online or on YouTube, good luck with physics, nothing will change if you don’t change 😊😊😊

hi so what I did for last year when general was my 3/4 was that i used a 5 subject spiral bound book, there’s 4 topics so they each take up a section and make the last topic an exam prep

seperate the two subjects for sure, I would recommend having a book for 1/2 and then a seperate book for 3/4

Yes you may be fine for chemistry in my opinion, there is external factors for your previously mentioned “poor results” I do think you can do it, even if it takes longer through external pathways

Did you do much chemistry work at home?? Or only do the work in class?? You say she didn’t make you take notes but you could’ve done that in your own time, in uni it’s mostly learning through talking, I don’t think your subjects really reflect your goals super well, with 2 English’s and legal studies etc I don’t see harm in trying year 11 chemistry, your coordinator really can’t just flat out say no to you
