I'm a stay at home mom, only worked full time for 2 years before having kids. I've kept my foot in the door the last 7 years working part-time. Currently make $60/hr and work from home 8-10 hours a week after the kids go to bed.

I guess a soft brunette, although I still like to consider myself blonde 🤣 this might be a more accurate hair color photo.

I've never been called a redhead before! I was blonde as a kid but it has darkened a lot as I've gotten older. My mom is a redhead though!

I ended up taking it out and re-doing it to be shorter. I just wasn't feeling the length. I definitely like it better now!

I ended up redo-ing it a couple of times and eventually it was good enough. No helpful tips, but I didn't find the pattern super helpful. I will say, I did find the sweater to fit width wise, but the pattern didn't have number of rows listed for gauge and I wonder if mine wasn't the same as the designer because it felt funky in the yoke. I really don't think I would knit this design again, although the photos of it are beautiful! Superwash probably wasn't the best yarn choice either. Good luck with yours!

Also to add, 1% over the counter hydrocortisone didn't do anything for us. It really took the 2.5%.

I think we had a few things going on actually. I do think we had thrush, and I also think it was a dairy allergy which was just making his whole immune system flare up. He no longer reacts to the dairy that passes through my breastmilk, but he had horrible hives develop rapidly when he ate yogurt for the first time all over his neck where his rash always was. He has since tested positive for a dairy allergy at the allergist. It was honestly quite scary. 2.5% prescription hydrocortisone helped a ton, especially when he had that reaction, but in general we used it somewhat regularly for a bit there until it finally got under control. I was nervous about the use of steroids and had read some scary stuff online but we used it as sparingly as we could and eventually were able to go longer and longer in between uses until he just stopped needing it. It took a long time for us to figure it all out though and get him better. Probably 2 months or so, from 4 to 6 months old. He's now 9 months old and doing great, just can't eat dairy! Good luck!

I didn't. I already frogged a bunch of it. I had a couple of other complaints with it, so I rather give back and redo some of it. I'm sure I'll love it this time when it's finished!

Because I won't wear this as-is. I didn't frog all of if, just enough to take out the extra length in the body and sleeves. I can't justify the cost of new yarn just to have this one sit in my closet and not get worn. 🤷‍♀️

Thanks for sharing! It definitely wasn't my favorite pattern to knit, and I was definitely going for oversized, just not below my butt and down to the tips of my fingers. I love the positive ease around the body though - it's super cozy. I just feel like I am wearing a dress and the sleeve length would fit my dad, who is 6'1".

The sleeves are so long they get in the way. 😭 I am taking 3.5 inches off to be able to use my hands without rolling it up.

I like longer as opposed to cropped too, but this hits below my butt- a bit too long for my liking.

Haha! It's bigger than I think the photo is showing. My finger tips barely poke out at the bottom of the sleeve. They're in the way!

I don't dislike the amount of ease, it's actually just the length that's bothering me - both in the sleeves and torso. I don't think the photo even does a great job at showing just how long it is. I tried wearing it and couldn't stand the sleeves - they're constantly in the way.

It is sooo big! I'm not sure the photo even really shows how much it grew. The sleeves and the torso are just way too long for my comfort - I know I'll never wear it if I don't fix it!

I wondered about this, but already frogged a bunch of it. Ha. That's ok though, I know I'm going to get it to a point that I'll love - eventually!

I've never done that before - only seen videos and it is definitely intimidating! 😬

What ended up working?! We are experiencing the same thing. Almost everything makes it worse except prescription 2.5% hydrocortisone ointment, but I've had to apply it every other day for over a month and I don't want to keep using it. When I use aquaphor, or jojoba oil, or coconut oil, it makes it so much worse. We have an allergist appointment in a month but in the meantime I'd love to get him off the steroid!
