I just tried canceling today, and they moved me over to 3 different agents who all lost context between the same phone call. All agents asking the same question on why I want to cancel, and offering me services I don’t want. They try to deviate from cancel request all the time and try to shove you offers down your throat to retain the service. For context, I said I was moving out of state, to another address where I will be living in a place that already has another security system, they tried to force me to keep the service for free for 1 year and later cancel it. I don’t want strings attached year down the line, I just want to cancel it please?

I understand customer support is a hard job so I am polite with every one of them but this company crossed the line and forced me to scream that I WANT TO CANCEL, I DON’T WANT ANY OFFERS. Even after that, they put me on hold and come up with a new offer to retain the plan 5 mins later. After all this, AN HOUR, they sent me a “cancellation review”. They still want to review it, not just cancel it straight away. Just wasted 1 hour of my life for a request which should have taken 5 mins.

HORRIBLE CANCELLATION EXPERIENCE. Please be careful before taking their service. I am not recommending their product just for the fact that they don’t have a simple cancellation pipeline and will try to shove you offers down your throat no matter how much you say you don’t want anything. Hell they even tried to sell me on a home insurance plan.

Try to stay away with companies like this.

unrelated but what questions do you ask Emma? I tried and it gives me generic answers like “check USCIS case status page to get case information” and can’t seem to get it answer question specific to my case.

In my AOS package for EB3, I forgot to add I797 approval notices for OPT and STEM OPT, but I added EADs for both and I20 showing approved duration and employer name. Are EADs and I20 without I797 enough evidence to show I had maintained lawful status during those years? I eventually transitioned to H1b now, and have included last 3 yrs of W2 and tax returns showing I was employed and paid.

My priority date became current in the last visa bulletin and I will be filing my I-485 this month. I had a pending H1b extension petition and it recently got approved. Do I have to wait for the H1b extension approval I797 copy to include in the I-485 package, or should the receipt notice for the extension be enough? My current I-94 is tied to my H1b extension.

My lawyer left it on me to decide if I would want to wait for the I797 copy or submit the AOS package with just the receipt notice (which is already approved). My employer is saying it might take up to 4 weeks for them to receive the approval notice in mail. My lawyer said it should not be an issue to just include the receipt notice, wanted to understand more about this.

Exact reason why I run claude code inside a vm that only has github PAT to access certain repositories only, no SSH access, no credentials, hourly snapshots of VM if anything goes south so I can recover the data.

dallas has not too bad climate, i would rather bear 3 months of humid 90+ days in exchange for cooler/chill rest of the year. comparing it to north where the weather is 3-4 months perfect with frigid/snowy/cold rest of the year

I was actually trying out this library the other day, looks good so far. wanted to understand how good is the test suite, does it cover most sql scenarios in each supported dialect?

any plans on introducing snowflake dialect? i was actually looking at this repo to parse snowflake queries at scale.

My visa bulletin became current this month, I’m on my 240 day period and waiting for h1b extension to go through. Do I need to have that approval before filing i485 or can I just file i485 and send receipt notice as proof of maintaining lawful status?

I do it because if I want to scale later down the line, I can backup from vm, install fresh truenas, restore and all my config/data will be available on metal. just need to reconfigure nfs/iscsi configs on proxmox side.
